Customer Reviews

I've had this wallet for a few months now and I love it. It's the slimmest that I have found and I do get comments from people when I take it out because it just looks so sharp. If you carry a lot of cash, this isn't the wallet for you (you may be interested in Rubbermaid 2963-TP BISQ 11QT Pouring Bucket). However, if you carry 4-5 bills at a time and want something to hold your cards, it works great! I'm very happy with my purchase.

It was time for a new wallet. I was looking to reduce the bulk in my back pocket, and to reduce the amount of (rarely used) cards I carried in my wallet. After spending some time researching some wallets, I chose this one. My wife bought it for my birthday, and I am very pleased with it so far (had it a few days, as of this review). Compared to my old wallet, this one is much smaller while folded and because it doesn't have unnecessary flaps or excessive card slots, it is also much thinner.
The height of the wallet is much less than most. It's actually perhaps a few millimeters too short (see my photos in the gallery). Width-wise, when opened, you have about an inch extra to fit your US bills. So you have plenty of space horizontally. It's the height that causes the US bills to pop out of the top (by about 1/8th of an inch). It personally isn't too bothersome, as the bills barely even stick out enough to get damaged. But I thought it was worth mentioning.
The quality is top-notch, and I like the sleek, smooth look of the leather. The dark blue striped cloth in the bill compartment is a nice touch (also behind the ID window too). The logo on the front is (very slightly) raised metal. A nice touch indeed, if I do say so myself. There are two more points worth mentioning. First is the diagonally grooved/textured ID window, which causes your ID to slightly blur (perhaps to get you in the habit of removing your ID when presenting it, if the DOB is important). The second is the 3 card slots on the right fold: when inserted, the top two cards will be flush with one another, causing the 2nd/middle card to NOT stick out any further than the 1st/top card. Not a huge problem, but slightly annoying, as it makes it a little more difficult to see what your second card is, and makes it just a tad harder to remove.
But all in all, it's a great wallet and perhaps one of the best minimalistic wallets (3 actual card slots (and another slot behind), an ID window/slot(and another slot behind), and a good-sized bill compartment) that you can get, especially for the cost!
